After watching the movie Julie & Julia with Annie's Aunt's and cousins, we decided that we needed to have a Julie & Julia night of our own. We all chose recipes from Julia Child's cookbook, Mastering the Art of French Cooking. Here are some pictures of the dishes we had.
Coq au Vin
Made by Aunt Cindi
Jeff and Emerson getting ready to eat.
Quiche aux Fruits de Mer (Crab) and Quiche Lorraine
Made by Michelle
Les Haricots Verts dans la Creme
Made by Lisa
Boeuf Bourguignon and Bruschetta
Made by Aunt Sue
The whole meal laid out.

We had to turn the lights off to get the whole effect.
Charlotte Chantilly aux Fraises
Made by me
Everything tasted delicious and all you could hear while we were eating was the sound of us chewing and sounds of MMMMM as we satisfied our pallats.

This is so fun! The food looks so delicious. I've been wanting to do a meal like this since seeing this movie as well, but I need more people so we can each focus on one dish.
can i be in your family?
What a great idea!
