I had a wonderful Thanksgiving break this year. I had a five day weekend which was so nice and I got to spend some time with my family. We had Thanksgiving dinner over at my Aunt Shauna's home with all the usual Thanksgiving fixins. The only thing missing was the mashed potatoes and gravy. :( Oh well. Then we watched Facing the Giants, which was pretty cheesy, but had some good values and some tender moments. That was the kick off for Thanksgiving movie marathon weekend. Later that night Annie and I went and watched August Rush. It was pretty good, I liked the story and the idea of this kid that just hears music in anything and is super talented. The only downside to it was that it was kind of slow and I was expecting the ending to be a little more than what it was. We got out of the theater a little before one, and Annie wanted to go to the mall. Which I thought was completely crazy because 1. all the crazy people there fighting to get in. 2. I was dead tired 3. (the most important) Annie hates, hates, hates shopping. :) So I found it a little funny that she of all people wanted to go to the mall with all the other after Thanksgiving shoppers. I bailed out and Annie decided to go by herself, but that only lasted for about 10 minutes then she turned around and went back home. Friday afternoon we did some shopping, after most of the crazy shoppers had gone home then we had some yummy food at the Ram and watched the BSU/Hawaii game. It was a good game, but I'm sad that we didn't win. I guess everyone has to have their year right? Friday nights movie was The Princess Bride, but we didn't last more than maybe 20 minutes. Saturday was spent doing more errands, cleaning my room and just hanging out. Annie and I went with my mom to get some ice cream from Maggie Moo's and it was so delicious and fun to spend some time with my mom. Then we went to Hastings to pick out some movies. The list for Saturday night, 1. Fracture 2. Shrek 3 3. Lord of the Rings Two Towers. I really liked Fracture because it's one of those movies that's a little suspenseful, makes you think and has a twist at the end, but had one too many swear words. Shrek was hilarious as always, would recommend that one to anyone. After the first two movies we decided that we should build a fort for the last movie and it was sweet! I LOVE FORTS! We made it through the first disc and maybe 1/2 of the second disc of Two Towers before we fell asleep. Sunday ended the movie marathon with left over Thanksgiving dinner, Mmmmmm, and then The Lord of the Rings Return of the King. I'm still working on finishing the last disc. It was a great weekend filled with lots of good food, lots of laughs, good times, and good movies. Here are some pictures from the weekend.

Wow, you sound like you had a full/fun/relaxing week. Sounds great. It was fun seeing the pictures. Your cousin looks different than what I remembered. Of course she would, just weird to see. :) Oh and it is the jazz cd that I love & Rees likes it too. Thanks again. :)
